We migrate stores to Shopify. Transparently, and at a fixed price.

The short version

Migrate2Shopify is a specialist agency that does one thing: move e-commerce stores onto Shopify, cleanly and at a price you see before you commit. We work with merchants on WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Wix, and a handful of legacy European platforms — and we publish our packages openly because we think you should know what something costs before you pick up the phone.
That's the whole pitch. The rest of this page is for anyone who wants to know why we built it this way.

Why we exist

The e-commerce migration market has a transparency problem.

If you've ever asked an agency for a Shopify migration quote, you know the routine. Discovery calls. Scoping documents. A proposal that arrives a week later with a number you couldn't have guessed in advance. Then change requests, scope creep, and a final invoice that's 30% above the estimate.

It works because migrations are technical enough that most merchants can't independently verify what a fair price looks like. Agencies bill by the hour, scope expands, and the merchant pays the difference.

We didn't want to run that kind of business.

The model we built instead is borrowed from a Danish social media agency — Nordsocial — that publishes every price on their website. No "request a quote" button. No discovery-call gatekeeping. Just packages, prices, and what's included. We thought e-commerce migrations deserved the same treatment, and so far our clients seem to agree.

How we're different

A few principles shape how we work, and they're all visible from the outside:

Fixed prices, published openly. Every package is on the pricing page. The price you see is the price you pay. If your store needs something outside the standard packages, we'll tell you that — and quote it as a fixed add-on, not an open-ended hourly rate.

No bait-and-switch scoping. We tell you what's included and what isn't before you commit. If we discover something genuinely outside the original scope mid-project, we tell you immediately and give you the option — we don't quietly add it to the invoice.

Specialists, not generalists. We don't build websites, run paid ads, or do SEO retainers. We do Shopify migrations. That focus means we've seen most of the edge cases before, and we move faster than agencies treating migrations as a side product.

Honest about fit. If Shopify isn't the right answer for your business, we'll tell you. If your migration is small enough to do yourself, we'll tell you that too. We'd rather lose a project than take on one that doesn't make sense for the merchant.

How a project actually goes

A migration with us looks like this:

You reach out, usually through the contact page. We have a 30-minute conversation about your store, your current platform, your catalog, and what's prompting the move. Within 48 hours we send back a complete migration plan with fixed pricing, timeline, and scope.

If the plan works for you, we kick off. You get a project manager who runs point on everything — communication, timeline, deliverables — and a technical specialist who handles the migration itself. One PM, one developer, one project. No revolving cast of account managers.

Most migrations run 3–6 weeks. Bigger ones run longer, and we say so up-front. Throughout the project you can see exactly where we are and what's coming next. On launch day we cut over, monitor closely, and stay engaged for two weeks afterwards to catch anything the post-launch period surfaces.

If you want the full breakdown of what's involved by platform, our migrations hub has detailed guides for every platform we work with.

Who runs Migrate2Shopify

We met building e-commerce businesses ourselves, hit the migration headache from the merchant side more than once, and decided the market needed an agency that operated the way we wished agencies had operated for us.

We run lean by design. Most of the technical work is delivered by specialists we've hand-picked through a structured vetting process — people we've worked with on real projects before they ever touch a client store. The team is small, distributed, and chosen for skill rather than location. We think that's the right shape for this kind of work, and the pricing reflects it: we pass the efficiency back to clients instead of inflating quotes to cover overhead clients don't benefit from.

Where we're going

Right now we're focused on doing migrations well — WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Wix, and the Nordic platforms our backgrounds give us a natural edge on. Over time we'll add structured post-launch care plans for clients who want ongoing support, and we'll keep publishing honest content about Shopify, migrations, and the trade-offs merchants face when they pick a platform.

If you're considering a move to Shopify and want to see what working with us looks like, the easiest first step is the contact page. We'll send back a real plan, with real pricing, within 48 hours.
